about the Potsdam Day Trip from Berlin

Do we go inside any of the palaces?

Usually we do not, but we can! This is your Private Potsdam Tour, so if you’d like to include a palace visit to your trip then let us know after booking. The most popular are the Sanssouci Palace and the Cecilienhof Palace* (where the Potsdam Conference was held).

*Cecilienhof Palace requires a 90-min. visit

Is there a break on the tour?

If you choose the 6-hour All-Day Potsdam Option we will definitely take a break for coffee & cake in the picturesque old town.

If you choose the 4-Hour Sanssouci Gardens option then a refreshment break is available if you want it. Some people eat a big breakfast and power through, while others like to stop off for a beer. Let us know after you book your tour, or even just see where the mood takes you on the day!

Where does the tour finish?

Your tour, your way. Your guide will bring back to wherever you like in Berlin, be that your hotel, the stunning Museum Island, or even the Brandenburg Gate.

Do we need public transport passes for this tour?

Maybe! If you pick the All-Day Van Tour of Potsdam option then of course not. However, if you pick one of the walking tour options you will need an ABC 24-Hour Pass. Your guide will pick you up in your hotel and help you buy the correct pass, so there’s no need to battle with the machines yourself.
